Tawheed is the secret of Holy Quran

Tawheed is the secret of Holy Quran and Tawheed is present in most of the Quran.
If monotheism is deeply rooted in your heart, you will be supported by Allah.

         For Example : Prophet Yusuf

Mohsin Khan: 39: "O two companions of the prison! Are many different lords (gods) better or Allah, the One, the Irresistible?
 12:39

When Yusuf pbuh was asked about the interpretation of a dream in prison, he seized the opportunity to call for the Oneness of Allah.
He addressed their minds and asked them which is more logical: worshipping diverse gods who have no power or worshipping Allah the One and the Almighty, the Subduer?
They requested him to interpret the dream, even before they realized he was a pious muhsin person.

Mohsin Khan: 36: And there entered with him two young
men in the prison. One of them said: "Verily, I saw myself (in a dream) pressing wine." The other said: "Verily, I saw myself (in a dream) carrying bread on my head and birds were eating thereof.": "Inform us of the interpretation of this. Verily, we think you are one of the Muhsinun (doers of good).  12:36

They are in prison in a weak state, so he referred to Allah as the Subduer and the Almighty. He wanted them to be attached to Allah ,the One , the Irresistible

·         Another example is that of Prophet Jonah pbuh

Yunus pbuh called upon Allah from the darkness of the night, of the sea and of the whale to save him

Mohsin Khan: 87: And (remember) Dhun-Nun (Jonah), when he went off in anger, and imagined that We shall not punish him (i.e. the calamities which had befallen him)! But he cried through the darkness: La ilaha illa Anta [none has the right to be worshipped but You (O, Allah)], Glorified (and Exalted) be You [above all that (evil) they associate with You]! Truly, I have been of the wrong-doers."  21:87

Yunus  pbuh admitted that he was a wrongdoer , he didn't appeal to Him on account of being a prophet (a supposedly pious person) , but admitted his wrong deeds and that he was not acting in a way befitting a good slave to Allah.

Another example is that of Prophet Ayub

who suffered a serious skin disease for so many years, but he was patient in facing this affliction.

There is also the believer in surat Yassin,

who was so keen to save his people
He called them to monotheism till his death, so Allah gave him the good news of being admitted to paradise, and he was hoping his people will know how His Lord had forgiven him, and honored him for his eman and belief in monotheism.
Tawheed is not a mere word; it's a way of life

 20

Mohsin Khan: 20: And there came a man running from the farthest part of the town. He said: "O my people! Obey the Messengers.

Mohsin Khan: 21: "Obey those who ask no wages of you (for themselves), and who are rightly guided.

22

Mohsin Khan: 22: "And why should I not worship Him (Allah Alone) Who has created me and to Whom you shall be returned.

.
To that degree may a man have that energy in inviting others to tawheed!

26

26: It was said: "Enter Paradise." He said: "Would that my people knew

Mohsin Khan: 27: "That my Lord (Allah) has forgiven me, and made me of the honoured ones!"

 36:20-27

39

Mohsin Khan: 39: "It was better for you to say, when you entered your garden: 'That which Allah wills (will come to pass)! There is no power but with Allah !' If you see me less than you in wealth, and children
 18:39

Prophets are people selected by Allah and they provide us with the best example of their monotheism

  • The pious man in surat Al Kahf is

also giving an example of those who call for monotheism

He was reminding his companion that his orchard is not the result of his power and strength, it is all because of Allah's strength and power. Allah makes the dunya ( worldly life ) depend on causes: If u'r hungry, you grab something to eat
Allah showed us what is right and what is wrong

Allah told us through the Prophet's hadith that Halal (that which is permissible) is clear and Haram (that which is prohibited) is clear as well, and in between them, there are some ambiguous  matters  المتشبهات that are not know to all people.

if people want to follow the right path ,Allah has shown clearly the path that is permissible for all believers to
follow

Halal (permissible things) are clear and haram
( prohibited things ) are clear

That which is Halaal is clear and that which is Haraam is clear, and between the two of them are ambiguous (mutashabihat) matters about which many people do not know. Thus he who avoids ambiguous matters clears himself in regard to his religion and his honour, but he who falls into ambiguous matters (eventually) falls into that which is Haraam, like the shepherd who pastures around a sanctuary, all but grazing therein. Truly every king has a sanctuary, and truly Allaah’s sanctuary is His prohibitions. Truly in the body there is a morsel of flesh, which, if it be whole, all the body is whole, and which, if it is diseased, all of (the body) is diseased. Truly, it is the heart.”

Mankind and jinn are created for the sole purpose of worshipping Allah

Allah said also : “And I (Allah) created not the jinn and mankind except that they should worship Me (Alone)”.

The main point is to worship Him as the One and Only
 ilah
We find Christians and Jews worshipping Allah, but they do not believe in monotheism.

 56

Transliteration 56: Wama khalaqtu aljinna waalinsa illa liyaAAbudooni
Mohsin Khan: 56: And I (Allah) created not the jinn and mankind except that they should worship Me (Alone).

57

Transliteration 57: Ma oreedu minhum min rizqin wama oreedu an yutAAimooni
Mohsin Khan: 57: I seek not any provision from them (i.e. provision for themselves or for My creatures) nor do I ask that they should feed Me (i.e. feed themselves or My creatures).

58

Transliteration 58: Inna Allaha huwa alrrazzaqu thoo alquwwati almateenu
Mohsin Khan: 58: Verily, Allah is the All-Provider, Owner of Power, the Most Strong.

Allah is not in need of any of His creations, He is the Provider, Owner of Power, the Most Strong

Transliteration 59: Fainna lillatheena thalamoo thanooban mithla thanoobi ashabihim fala yastaAAjiloona
Mohsin Khan: 59: And verily, for those who do wrong, there is a portion of torment like to the evil portion of torment (which came for) their likes (of old); so let them not ask Me to hasten on!

Transliteration 60: Fawaylun lillatheena kafaroo min yawmihimu allathee yooAAadoona
Mohsin Khan: 60: Then woe to those who disbelieve (in Allah and His Oneness - Islamic Monotheism) from their Day which they have been promised (for their punishment).
 51:56-60

Allah doesn’t need provision from anyone, He is the Provider
The result is the declaration or the warning that wrong doers will be punished on the Day of Judgment.
You should believe in reckoning:  if you sincerely believe in Allah, you will have no doubts about the idea of rewards and punishment on the Day of Judgment.

If you look at those who are praised by Allah as perfect people, you will find that they are all monotheists who have fully abstained from seeking the praise or contentment of any others than Allah.   What they truly seek is Allah's reward
.

The Kumal people (Perfect people) -- are prophets , messengers and the pious righteous people

 9

Transliteration 9: Innama nutAAimukum liwajhi Allahi la nureedu minkum jazaan wala shukooran
Mohsin Khan: 9:: "We feed you seeking Allah's Countenance only. We wish for no reward, nor thanks from you.

 76:9

.
When they feed others, they don’t want any reward or thanks from people, but they want the reward and thanks from Allah.
Seeking praise is one of our natural needs, so we'd better seek praise from Allah.
They are worshipping Allah by the name the Thankful, they want their good deeds to be rewarded and multiplied

Other people, when they do any good deeds, like feeding others for instance, they want nothing but the rewards of Allah. They are not looking forward for any praise except from Allah…and this is tawheed.

With respect to seeking praise, there are two types of people :

  • People who seek the praise of others, they always show off and speak about their deeds to be praised and admiredby others, and these are hypocrites

  • Others, on the contrary, do not give vent to this natural need. They seek nothing but the praise and contentment of Allah. This is tawheed (monotheism).

Monotheism is not to expect a reward in return for your deed except from Allah

If you are subject to tribulation, don't ask for any relief except from Allah

and ask none but Him

be one who is Monotheistic for Allah , the Only One God

of yours  ---- "Be one for ONE "

Be one for ONE, nothing to occupy your mind except

how you will meet The One….so most of my thinking will

be how to get His contentment.

He is the One and Only who can relieve your troubles,

don't hope for anybody's support, think of none but Him

.
This is why those Messengers and Prophets who were favoured and honoured by Allah are given the glad tidings of jannah, since their only concern or preoccupation was the hereafter and the meeting of Allah SWT and this is the core of monotheism.

What is the importance of Al Tawheed ?  ( Monotheism) ?

1-       Allah made it clear that He created human and

Jinn just to worship HIM

If someone asks why are u so concerned about monotheism, we can answer by proofs from the Quran
we will find parables, stories , and descriptions of monotheistic people, all of which emphasize the importance of monotheism.

Whatever the Quran highlights and holds as important, should be highlighted by us as well and held in high esteem.
The problem that we see nowadays is that some people preach this knowledge of deen as if running a show or entertainment ,or trying to make it as fashion for people to follow
We are not studying Tawheed because it is a new fashion, it is not meant for entertainment. It is rather a lifestyle that has to be followed. That's why we are emphasizing here over and over again why Tawheed is important.

 1)

 1) what is the importance of tawheed ?

2- The second reason why are studying tawheed is that it is the end ( purpose ) for which Allah created mankind and jinn  -- for Allah said I did not create human and jinn except to worship ME ---(51:56)
The verse in Al Dhariyat says Allah created us to worship

 Him

why are we interpreting the word " worship " as to hold as ONe?

The scholars explain yabudun ( worship) -- means " Wahidun"( oneness of Allah )
In the book of tawheed, the word is explained as worshipping Allah as One

3- Tawheed is the end for which Allah had sent down the Messengers and Books.
